    In Portugal we have "café com cheirinho", coffee with a nice smell. Coffee is drunk with bagaço, aguardente or medronho.

    Interesting how other countries also have this culture

    It's surprisingly good, especially after lunch. But it's generally older men's thing, not very common among youngsters.

    Ah an Italian… i occasionally had that, after lunch, with sambuca, great way to trash your afternoon if you’re not used to strong alcoholic drinks.

    Funny story: i had my first caffé corretto when i was like 15 and skipped school to go around the city with a girl and a few friends (male and female). We went for a coffee and she had a caffé corretto so OBVIOUSLY i had one as well, and then i spent the rest of the morning doing my best pretending to hold alcohol well and having a great time. Oh to be young again.
