  I was hoping from the headline that meant nuclear missiles too. Japan needs nuclear weapons, the US is not a reliable ally.

    Japan needs a full-standing army, air force, and navy too, but demographics make that increasingly difficult.

      True. Nukes can offset some of that. All a very tough sell politically though.
